Thank you for your interest in Morpheus Glass fused glass course. This page contains information about our Half day fused glass course. The course is led by established fused glass designer/maker Stephanie O’Brien at the fully equipped Morpheus Glass Studio, Billinge, Wigan.

We will start the day at 10:00am and you will be finished no later than 1pm, refreshments will be served.
Please ensure that you wear suitable clothing. e.g. No open toed sandals, layers are a good idea as the temperature in the studio can vary depending on the time of year and weather.
Comfortable shoes are a MUST as you will be stood for most of the time.
The cost of the fused glass course is £59.95 which includes all materials and tuition along with refreshments. The total amount must be paid on booking to secure your place.
Each of the fused glass course will have a maximum of 10 students per group. The course must have no fewer than 6 students for it to run. Groups of 6 or more who would like to arrange a party booking please contact us to arrange a date. Ideal for a special occasion.
If you can bring along some inspiration for ideas that would be great. Swatches, photos, patterns, a drawing or sketch anything you like really so you have a starting point on the day but if you fancy winging it that's fine too! Stephanie is happy to help guide you with your designs but we don't allow replications of the Morpheus Glass collections.
The half day sessions vary but you will make either one piece or two pieces depending on the course, from a set of 4 coasters, a hanging heart, a small wall clock, a small wall plaque or a hanger, you can add an extra product if you have time to spare for an additional charge of £15 this can be arranged on the day.
After your course your work will need to be fired in our kiln. Once it has been fired the work can either be collected from the studio the following week or be sent to your home address via courier. (An extra cost of £10 P&P would apply).
The studio is situated At Love It Gallery, Winstanley Road, Billinge, Wigan WN5 7XG. A Short way from J26 of the M6. We are situated on the same road as Winstanley College.

If you can't make it on the course for any reason you need to inform us at least 2 weeks before the date of the course, we will then be able to transfer your booking to an alternative date. This allows us some time to offer the place to someone else.
If you do not allow us 2 weeks' notice or fail to turn up on the date of the course then we regret to say your place will be lost and no refund will be given. Should the course not be running for any reason you will be contacted and offered an alternative date or a full refund.
If you have any specific needs, please ensure you inform us on booking so we can make sure you are able to enjoy the course comfortably.
